Home Care Packages allow you to access many services.
At Living Well Care our specialist care team we will work with you to identify the services that will best meet your needs.
Personal Care
Help with maintaining your personal hygiene and grooming standards, including:
- Dressing, and undressing
- Bathing, showering, and toileting
- Washing and drying hair, shaving
- Mobility support (e.g. getting in and out of bed)
- Medication reminders
Nursing Services
Nursing services help you treat and monitor medical conditions at home, including:
- Assistance with taking medication
- Wound care and management
- Medical testing
- General health and other assessments
Cleaning and Home Maintenance
To help you keep your home clean, tidy, and safe, including:
Can include:
- Cleaning like dusting, vacuuming, and mopping
- Ironing and laundry
- Making beds
- Light gardening – weeding, pruning, lawn mowing, minor garden maintenance, clearing debris
Transport Services
To get you out and about to appointments and community activities, including
- Assistance with shopping
- Visiting health practitioners
- Attending social activities
Clinical Care
- Allied health and therapy services such as speech therapy, podiatry, occupational or physiotherapy services
- Hearing and vision services
- Other health and related services
Social Support
Support to engage in social and community activities, including
- arranging for a caregiver to make in-home companionship social calls
- providing a companion to accompany you on appointments (e.g. visiting your GP) and outings (e.g. shopping)
- arranging social activities and providing or coordinating transport to social events
- someone to help set up phone and internet communication services to keep in touch with loved ones
- a care worker supporting you in your home for a short period of time (for example, when your carer is away or unavailable)
